Title: Alot of mayo under oil cap?

Hi guys topped my oil up yesterday noticed there was a lot of mayo under the oil cap should I be worried? Car seems fine, coolant level still ok.  been doing alot of short journeys picking my daughter up from nursery

Loads of old info on here about this if you use search. The good news is that if the dipstick is clear and you are doing short runs on cold days you are probably ok.

What he said - also check the coolant for signs of oil deposits "incase" the head gasket has let go, but unlikely

agred- my old gti was the same- no issues
