Title: RNS 510 volume???

Hi guys, can anyone tell me how to adjust the volume on the navigation side of an RNS 510? just had it installed and the volume is doing my box in!  :fighting: Every time i turn it down it just blares back at me!
Is it me being a bit thick?

When it's speaking just turn the volume knob  :happy2:

I do this but every time it speaks again, its at the original LOUD volume!  :stupid:  :fighting:

Sounds like the default volume is set too high, have you checked the volume or navigation settings under the setup menu?

Yep - the two things mentioned should sort it out!  Took me a while to work it out when I first got my car (a while back now)

Thanks guys and sorry to be further pain but what are the exact location of the settings. Had a little look in the set up menu but couldn't see anything related to the nav volume, or any volume actually.

I can't remember off the top of my head - will check when I'm in the car next....
