Guys
is there any difference between 3 & 5 door seats? I am about to purchase a set from a 5 door car and want to ensure the rear seats will fit ok in my 3 door, as i'm 99.9% sure the front seats will be fine
Cheers

Pretty sure backs are the same but hopefully someone else who has actually done it can confirm.
As for the fronts they will be different. 3 doors the front seat tilt and slide forward to allow people in the back, the 5 door fronts do not have this feature.

I think the five door front seats will fit ok but you wont have the quick tilt handle for rear access.

Thanks guys
So I’m guessing that to get folks in the back would mean sliding the seats forward manually???

I'd just wait for a 3 door set if I were you.
They won't slide forward far enough to get people in the back without having to wind the seat forward on the wheel and then it will still be tight as they don't collapse forward like they do on a 3 door set. You also need to think about people getting out the back if you have an accident. It's worth waiting and doing the job properly if you're putting the effort in to swap them in the fist place.
A 3 door set in a 5 door would be OK, though having the lever on the top corner of the seats would still annoy me as I'd know it wasn't supposed to be there.

agreed- I would wait and do the job properly, also when you come to sell it people will notice its wrong and start to think whats happened to the car, what else has been done via a shortcut etc.
