Car is 57, GTI Edtion 30.
Im being quoted £240 for second service and brake fluid change. This is at main dealers in Perth btw.
Is that cheap, expensive or ok?
-
I think I paid a little less than that but not by much. It was the second (20k) service on T&D.
-
My second service was £115 (they price matched skoda)

Sound thick but never done it before . Need cam belt and DSG oil change to £££££

they didnt on the first service, for the second service though they asked for a quote in writing, i said it seemed a bit silly as what dealer would do a written quote !, so they did it without the letter, that said i did email skoda and they did send me a written quote :happy2:

Cheers blue

Sound about right, maybe £190 for the service and £50 for the brake fluid change, only guessin but i would expect camerons to be around £85hr, got my audi done through skoda for £70hr.

Thats about right mate Mines was £200 for service, fluid change and Mot! But that was with a friends discount :happy2:
-
Thanks for the replies guys. Will post back with my final price

Make sure the buggers clean your engine cover of any oil :fighting: And they knocked my gti badge off the seat adjuster on my drivers seat :fighting:

Ad warn them mate I was a bit dissapointed in the service I got from them this time usually comes back spick and span I felt that it was a bit rushed :sad1:

I paid about £145, less 25% discount (about £120) for my last service at VW Crow Road Arnolds Clark.
They currently have a 20% discount voucher for manufacturer servicing on their website... look it up :afro:
FYI, after getting the 'recommended work' advisory, an Audi Indy garage did my brake fluid change using OEM fluid for £35 + VAT.
Total about £160...? :afro:
