It's easy with VCDS, it only takes the dealer 2 minutes. If they're nice they'll do it for free when it's next in. Get the auto unlocking done uswel.

It's about sixty seconds' work.
If possible, find someone who has vcds near you. If it's too far in terms of petrol/time, then use the dealer.

I'm glad someone brought this up as i have been meaning to ask about this. When i first picked my car up in September mine used to autolock itself but for some reason now it doesn't?

Is it something i have done?.

condensation in light units should not be coverd under warranty. Its a natural phonemnon which knowone can do anything about.

When there's a pool of water in your light, i can assure you its covered under warranty

Condensation and water ingress are 2 different things. If its water ingressing into the light unit, then yes it will be coverd. If it is purely due to condensation in the light unit and the fault is not due to a manufacuring defect, then it will not be coverd, there is a TPI avalible for this fault. If they do cover it, then it will be rejected.

The condensation in rear lights seems to be a common problem as i bought some R32 rear lights from the dealer last week and i was told to keep hold of my receipt as condensation was a problem and they have been replacing them under warrenty.
