hi, I would appreciate some help and information please, I bought a mk gti ,its had a few mods done ready for ko4, I had the ko4 put on it and mapped but only got 300 bhp ,any help and info would be great,cheers stu

I agree with JB55, please list those "few mods done" please.

Besides the obvious for minimum tuning requirements of an intake and DP...to get the most from a K04 and tuning you need the hpfp internals upgrade and MK6 Golf R/S3 injectors (06F906036F). No need for a FMIC upgrade until you have decided to track the car and discover you run it longer than it can take the heat...then upgrade if needed. There's more to squeeze from it with meth or alternate fuels(E fuels we have here) tuning of course, but for typical fueling you should see 340 to 350 bhp from a K04 with the HPFP and injectors upgraded.
