Title: Brake pads

Anyone recommend a decent front pad upgrade that comes in under £100 , was looking ebc red stuff but read some bad reviews on those

I used to sell and use EBC no issues but I also used Mintex

I was pretty set on red stuff, I dont do track days just wanted something for fast road use, but read that they wear really fast and are awful from cold, but others say they are a great upgrade, I've ordered some minted c hooked discs so just want something that will give me an improvement over standard pads as I've felt since I had car brakes aren't upto much but at moment budget isnt there for caliper upgrades,  so have to be pads and discs for now.

Mintex m1144.

Dont buy cheap "performance" pads as they will be sh*t.

Have a look at TEXTAR and PAGID. Ive used both over the last few years without any problem,  Don't forget its a combination of good pads, discs, tyres and dry roads :happy2:
 Perhaps a set of massive calipers and discs is what you really neeeeed :jumping:

I got tyres sorted new set of Goodyear assy5 on her all round, ordered mtec c hook discs just need to sort decent pads now
