Hi all,
I’m trying to update my tired and worn out standard interior switches; headlight, mirror, window, fuel flap. I had the MK6 ones in my last MK5 and want to do the same.
I know this is a common upgrade, so wondered where everyone gets theirs from? I’ve just had some delivered and they’re not great. Only the headlight switch and driver’s window switch have what I’d describe as ‘brushed chrome’ trim. The others have just been painted silver.
Any ideas, or is this a VW parts/TPS jobby?
Thanks

I bought mine from Bold Sport: http://www.bold-sport.com/store/index.php?route=product/category&path=43_39_62

Otherwise put the part numbers into ebay/LLL Parts and you should get genuine ones at a better price.
I know what you mean about the cheap switches not being brushed silver, I ordered a silver mirror switch which in the photo looked good, but what arrived felt cheap and was basically painted grey.

Got some genuine non china 5 door window chrome tip mk6 switches - window switches only. not mirror

I ordered a set from Bold Sport, but they're a no-show.
Been waiting a good white now and no response from them.
Even more worryingly is that on the website they now say "Available date December 2017" - bought when they said "in stock".
The petrol flap switch is still in stock.
The ebay ones were awful, painted, felt cheap and really notchy to move.
