Title: Intermittent Rattle/Flutter [Normal?]

Hi, does anyone elses GTI make a slight flutter/rattle noise when the engine is on? Pretty sure mine has always done this but just noticing it more recently as I'm driving more with the music off.

When I'm driving slowly I get a slight rattle noise from the engine, it rattles for about 3 seconds and then stops for about 5, and then repeats in a loop. The faster I go the quicker the rattle repeats and then stops if that makes sense (it follows the same pattern just faster)? I haven't pinpointed this yet to either the harndess of acceleration or the speed I'm going.

I was wondering if this is just a normal TFSI noise or something else? Thanks.

I don't think it's anything loose as the noise follows an exact pattern. I had a good listen the other day in the engine bay, think it's coming from the box I've highlighted in the image below (what is this?), it's certainly in that area of the engine:
