Title: Will a 57 plate (2008) Golf GTI get CAN batttery drain?
Post by: TyColl on June 20, 2020, 10:30:59 am
Hi all

I know this has probably been asked a million times and I’m sorry... but I’m looking to swap my standard head unit for something more modern such as the Kenwood or Pioneer headunits with CarPlay etc. I have a golf gti 57 plate and just wondering if i have to worry about battery drain on this model? If so where do i find out if i do?

Thank you!!

I had battery drain from the oem headunit on my 2007 chassis car but no issues at all with the Pioneer CarPlay unit.
