Title: Audi Split Wheel - Centre Caps
Post by: rdfcpete on March 11, 2010, 10:15:19 pm
Had my Audi Split wheels delivered first thing thus morning guys, absolutely buzzing and despite some kerbing they look tasty  Well chuffed.

They're genuine wheels (18x7.5) and have come with the genuine Audi centre caps.

I'm not really clued up on centre cap sizes, but do I just measure the current ones to work out which size I need for some VW ones that will fit straight on?

Ollie's maybe a good person to ask  :happy2:

Thanks,
Pete.

Awesome wheels Pete, they're going to look sweet when on!

We've just got a heated Karcher at work, and it cuts through dirt on BMW M style wheels with ease, in fact its so powerful my R32 calipers are blue again .  I've always hated wheel cleaning so I've always opted for 5 spokes, I might be tempted to get something similar if I could find them cheap enough!

Sound fella. When you say genuine VW ones though, do you mean from Monza's? .. or?.....

Indeed Steve, I've prepared myself for a grime battle with these

Thanks dude. I'm a massive fan of them, as long as they look shweet on the Steel Grey then I'll be mega chuffed.
Karchers bit pricey for me so I might take it to someone that's got one few times a year to get the real grime off  :surprised: :scared:

Just need to know the size and if OEM Monza CC's will suffice?
If not I'll jump on ebay.

Desperately need pointers on this one.
Can I simply measure the centre cap circumference on the wheels and buy VW centre caps that are this size?
Thanks  :happy2:

The audi centre caps on my split rims are 70mm.
Will compare that against my Monza ones but it seems all the OEM VAG ones are the same size, so shouldn't be a problem
