Title: PR 1.2 fitment
Post by: Aparoon on March 13, 2010, 11:58:34 am
My wheels arrived yesterday, the bolt holes are a smaller diameter than originals, am I missing something or have I been sent the wrong wheels :surprised:

What time is Demon Tweeks open till? They've got massive amounts of different stuff in stock, they could find you something and then just bill it back to who you got the wheels off?

SOLVED.. I am ashamed to say that I took the word of the tyre fitter re the bolt holes and was wrong, I was speaking with a friend and went to demonstrate how the bolt is too big for the hole as I had been told, lined the two up and it fell in place! I can't believe it, so I now have my new wheels fitted to the front but can't get the tryes put on the rears untill tomorrow  :ashamed: :ashamed:

Ridiculous I know  :stupid:

I had thought about black but fancied a change from the black monza's... Can't wait to get the rears on, was planning on still running the 10mm spacers, is there likely to be a issue with this?

you won't need them pal the TD's are 8" wide and 45 et, std is 7.5" wide 51 et, so with the TD's it like running a 12mm spacer with the std wheels :happy2:

Yeah, I'd be interested in knowing how much these are too. Do you pay a premium for the lack of branding?

They are slightly dearer without the writing but the difference is minimal and well worth it imo, i think without they are about 570 delievered and these were 600 delivered  :happy2:

I had a bit of a wait while they were made but they were worth the wait, tony danza pointed me in their direction and I just called them and asked...

I saw Jabbalad's on Sunday, much much nicer without the lettering. I'm toying with the idea of getting some, as the OZs aren't really giving me enough brake cooling (although I suppose I could finally do the ducting...)

Cheers lads  :happy2:

The hankooks are honestly unbelieveable, I can floor it from a standing start with no spin in first, was playing with the launch control last night and couldnt believe it, I will definately not be buying any normal road tyres again, for the front at least! Saying that, I have the only RSS Z211's in the country so can't get more if i wanted too  :stupid: :sad1:

I will give the RS2's a go next I think, they are £124 from camskill  :happy2:
