Title: Intake and torque
Post by: Aparoon on March 14, 2010, 07:44:08 pm
Had the BSH intake on over a week now, really pleased with it, however it feels like i've lost low end torque , I with the carbonio I got a big lump of power but its died off top end, with the BSH it feels a lot flatter low down but gets stronger and stronger with the revs... Does this sound right? Is it a trait of this type of intake?

Cheers :happy2:

Isn't it true to say that different aftermarket intakes will have different torque chracteristics?

I think what you will find is that the big lump doesn't die away as the car 'runs' out of air.

With the intake it is now sustained so it just feels like less.
