Hi all,
Me again with another SFQ! Been reading through the forum with no joy. Has anbody recently been able to get hold of and fit successfully with no bulb out warnings the rear LED light clusters like red robins to the mk5. Tried some of the suggested suppliers and they either don't sell them or they have the reverse/ fog bulb on the wrong side for abroad!! I know Valeo make them.
Tried ebay with little success. Don't want to have to plastic weld the inners as suggested, i'm not that technical!
Not asking for much lol but preferably was after a darker set to suit the Ed30 (if they exist)
yours hopefully

They only come in Euro spec so you need to do the lens swap yourself, which is quite simple. :happy2:
The colour of the unit is the same shade red as the ED 30 units.

It's a simple enough job and took me half an hour. You'll need a knife and a hot glue gun (or a plastic welder if you prefer).

I have the Valeo ones on my ED30 too. Very happy with them and I think they are a good safety upgrade for the rear too :happy2:

Look great on all the lighter coloured cars, not sure they work on black cars :surprised:

Is there any additional wiring required or are they canbus friendly as in no bulb out warnings on the dash due to the different resistors?

Straight forward plug and play! :happy2:

There are no resistors and they are CAN enabled; it's a drop in replacement. I understand it was offered as an upgrade option on EU Golfs at some point.
