My GTI is drinking oil & I have some persistent fault codes which re appear after clearing.
I would be grateful for any advice you may be able to give based on your experience of similar faults
Thanks in advance.
I have scanned & uploaded..

Well, you have a code for an intake leak or runner flap fault. Another for fuel pressure out of spec. And one for the DV/N249 failure.
If the DV is OK, then the DV code may be related to the code for a leak in the intake system.
Most common reason for the P1093 code iis the pressure regulator on top of the HPFP is cracked. If that is OK, then it may be the Cam follower is failed or the fuel is not being delivered by the LPFP...the fuel filter can also restrict flow. It is also possible a fuel pressure sensor is failing. The P0507 can be the throttle unit, but if not...it may be a vacuum leak. Given you have the intake system leak detected...I would say begin looking for a major leak in the air inlet bits and all tubing connected to the manifold. If you find this leak, you may find it is responsible for all of the codes other then the DV.

Thank you for your response that is most helpful I shall check it out out and post my findings
