There is no sachs DMF available for the S3 8P only LUK i would imagine this will apply to the ED30 & K1, I know as i tried to source one after reading on forums that there was a stronger sachs DMF available. Turns out there isnt Sachs UK confirmed this as did Audi.

So to bump this thread after Greenie filled me with fear today at srping Fest

I have a 57 plate ED30 so I will have a LUK DMF? I have purchased a Sachs organic clutch plate and cover on friday with this work with my LUK DMF?

The kit is the same as JKM offer as seen here http://www.jkm.org.uk/performance/clutch-vw.htm

Please help  :scared:

Davie,

Thanks for the comment. So do you think my 57 plate ED30 will have a LUK DMF? Ive read various threads some of which contradict the other regarding matching up Sachs clutch kit with LUK DMF's.

Different sized and more pressure being put on the cylinder ect.

Tbh i dont understand the issues some people have with the organic clutch kit and DMF's. Did Sachs design this kit around the LUK DMF and then after the 08 cars started using Sachs DMF thats when the problems started?

I would much appreciate as much info you can give me as Im having the clutch fitted this next weekend and do not want to run into issues & have to purchase a £900 flywheel

Thanks Dan
