Title: How to change RCD 300 to something more modern?

Hi all,

Don't know where else to look for a tutorial on this. I want to replace the original RCD 300 radio on my 08 Golf with something preferably with Bluetooth or an AUX IN option. I'm not too fussed if it doesn't include DAB or NAV. What would be best to go for, something from Volkswagen or aftermarket? Where's the best place for a complete tutorial on a swap with what tools I would need?

I bought an aftermarket from AliExpress for my '08 Golf, works like a charm. All I needed was a flathead screwdriver (or trim removal tools) and a Torx Bit (I'm thinking was T14). Proper easy full android auto and apple carplay, Bluetooth and all, was the best £230 I've spent on my car, gets compliments all the time and looks OEM.
