Hey guys,
Currently running a stage 1 map on my mk6 gti, its got an induction kit and has had a cat delete. My question is, when i get my down-pipe fitted next week, will i get pops and bangs or will i have to get a specific tune to allow it?
FYI- the car is a manual so no dsg farts.
Interested to hear other peoples experiences etc.

pops and bangs will need to be mapped in, with a decat downpipe you might get a little crack here and there.

A full turbo back and decat will give off a few modest pops and bangs. The factory exhaust and cats absorb them.
But why would you want that obnoxious cr@p on purpose? Over blown pops and bangs are an utter grey Primark track suit wearing chav fest.
Mapped in pops and bangs f*ck the turbo and f*ck the exhaust......but who cares so long as it impresses a group of 15 year old birds, right?
I can't wait until electric cars take over and do away with all this stupid pops, bangs and bumper melting flame out childish BS. If people crave attention.....do it with massive acceleration and speed..... nobody likes obnoxious chavy noises.
