Title: Hose clip pliers

Anyways going to fit my dbilas intake tommorrow and I remmber the hassle of removing the spring clips from my old Leon (especially by the turbo), so want to buy the proper tool. Does this look what I need:

I think for a one-off application you won't want to be paying Â£30+ for the pliers...

Post by: muckipup on March 22, 2010, 10:53:56 am: I got a pair of pliers from ebay that were of the ratchet type. Not great quality but did the trick. However, if the hose clips are quite accessible, I found a pait of long-nosed mole grips easier to work with. Again sourced from ebay.

much better that the pliers, i found the pliers to be awkward at times when trying to get access to the clips
