Title: Autotech HPFP - where from?
Post by: jmspear on March 20, 2010, 09:37:34 am
Hi all, I understand from searches that you can get Autotech HPFP for about £250?? But where from? Was this just a historic group buy purchase or are there any deals out there at the moment? I can only find JBS on the google search and they want over £300 and not even fitted.

Thanks

(If anyone has one they want to sell (GTI K03 car) please pm me)

Statllers in Sheefield usually stock Autotech HPFP parts. I think they charge around £300 too.

import some kmd internals from america is pretty cheap even after import tax

Thanks TC, I have sent BenR a number of emails over the last week or so, no response and it is still listed as for sale, has even been bumped a good few times, would be good to change it to  SOLD BenR

Poverty, good idea, have had a look at their website and it looks v similar to the autotech pump.

Anyone used kmd? Are they any good? Any issues with import duty?

They seem really cheap @ $300 when the autotech pump in the US is $400.

But the KMD with current exchange rate works out at £200 plus p&p so this shouldn't be more than £50 surely, but if postie then slaps 100% tax on it then it is a deal breaker.

I will give them a call monday and see if they can mark the package commercial samples or something similar ;-)

Hurdy, thanks but having just bought a Miltek TBE, ITG, bluefin and leather interior, funds are very very strapped at the moment so really looking for one a bit cheaper than list

Final thought, would a pump from an ed30 or S3 do the trick and anyone looked at one of these and seen how they compare? Can you get just the internals and would the internals fit the pump on the K03 engine?

Sorted, have bought from PDT, this is such a good place

Top guy by the way :happy2:, really knowledgeable on golf tuning (I guess it is his job, but he was really helpful with fitment and tuning advice) wish I was in the North East, not the south west, would take my car to them.

For info, JBS supplied me with the internals and fitted them to a pump I sent to them, then packaged it all up and sent back to me - for £343.

You can probably find the internals a bit cheaper but cheapest by far on the fitting - no problems with it so far touch wood.

By the way Dubtek has more comng in from the states and he is offering them at a top price, If I hadn't been able to get the PDT one, I would have bought from Dubtek, def the best price around.
