Title: NS2R 17" compounds
Post by: JimmyMK5GTI on November 16, 2020, 08:16:13 pm
Evening Chaps.
I'm looking at buying a set of Nankang NS2R semi-slicks for track days next year. I've noticed different prices for different compounds.
On Camskill for example there is a choice of 225/45/17 (180 Hard) and 225/45/17 (120 Medium).
I presume the 120 Medium are a better choice? There also out of stock on camskill, making them a more sort after compound, I'm guessing?

Just looking for some sort of confirmation please.
Also, if anyone knows a good place to buy such tires from, please advise

Cheers!

I suspect someone active in the racing scene like RetroResus would be best placed to advise you. At a guess, our weather is more likely to be cold and wet than Mediterranean...
