Title: Fault codes/Performance

Do fault codes effect the performance of the car?? Did a check with my bf before and there was 1 fault! Cleared the fault after looking into it and the car feels much stronger... is it all in my head :stupid:

some will, some wont affect performance. Most diagnostic tools will also reset certain data areas in the ECU when clearing codes, I have seen cars gain 15+ bhp from a simple code reset and 30+hp from a TB adaptation.
