I have replaced Megs wash with Chemical Guys - Extreme Bodywash & Wax
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/car-wash-shampoos/chemical-guys-extreme-bodywash-wax-1-gallon/prod_445.html
whats the dilution ratio everyone uses for :
1. bucket
2. foam pre spray (mines a cheapo hose only version)
carton says capful per bucket...
gracias :happy2:

Hi mate i have the extreme wash and wax, and hate it ! its the worst detailing product ive used, there is very little foam/suds and doesnt wash the car too well either.
I cant remember the ratio i used but i started off as the bottle said and ended up using almost double that to achieve a decent clean..........................................I think it was 2 caps per bucket but i used more ! Not a good product IMO

Oh i forgot to mention, I use VP citrus cleaner as a spray, its wax friendly and really is an amazing product. I just mix it up and spray it on the car via a garden sprayer so no hose required :happy2:
-
fair enough, but it doesnt solve my immediate issue of 4.5 ltrs of wash I need to use :signLOL:
-
I think it's one of the best shampoos available!!
I don't really know how much I use but probaby about 50 ml in 20l?

I bought the exact same product on the strength of my local detailers recommendation and it does exactly what it says on the tin.
Lather is superb, certainly the best wash product I've used bar none.
Gobbleplease it sounds like you have a duff batch. Stupid question I take it you did shake the product before dispensing into your bucket as there is a degree of seperation.
As a general rule I use 3/4 of a squirt using the supplied nozzle on my gallon container.
-
thanks guys :happy2:
nozzle was extra so I dont have it :signLOL:
I assume I cant strip any protection by going too strong?
-
Yea im thinking it was a duffer too, i did shake it well, even with the hose squirting in to the bucket to try and sud it up i was getting very little foamage, and buy the time ive used half of the bucket there is almost zero suds left, if this doesnt sound right it must be a duffer i got, but its too late for chemical guys, you only get one chance to impress with me
-
If you've still got half the container left, can the retailer not follow up on your behalf ?
You have nothing to lose, the product really is very good.

Maybe give Dave @ CG a call, very decent bloke. I echo previous posts as its always one of the two main CG products people ask me for.

I've used millions of shampoo products. They are all much of a muchness to be honest. They just smell different or have a different colour. This however is excellent. It has great lubrication properties which are they key to a safe wash.
Through a snowfoam lance it foams up brilliantly. In a bucket it does sud up that much but if you rub your fingers together it should feel very slick.
It might be worth mentioning that it's important to not make it too strong. There is a slight chance it might interfere slightly with a delicate wax.

I have to agree, i have been using this shampoo on various cars for a few years now and love it. Its very slick and and less is more definately, smells nice too. It always leaves a great finish too, but proper rinsing is key to this.
