Title: Oil leak on the left side (top) of engine
Post by: Kayubra on December 22, 2020, 05:28:21 pm
Hello, Newbie here.
Could some tell me what this sensor/actuator is?
I have looked for engine schematics, but no luck
There is an oil leak on the top left of the engine and it seems to come from the sensor located just under the timing chain assembly.
(couldn't figure out how to upload a picture)
Another possibility would be from the gasket of the timing chain assembly, wouldn't it?
Would be grateful to hear your suggestions.

Clean the area with brake cleaner or similar and see where the leak starts from, could well be the timing case gasket.
