Title: k04 turbo

Hi all

ive got to fit a new engine to my gti so im thinking of buying another engine and bolting the k04 turbo on . now what i need to know is can i just bolt on the k04 and injectors and pipe work on and away i go ? or is there other things i will need .

The K04 and Injectors are a straight bolt on as long as you have all the correct gaskets/seals etc.

Don't forget the DV relocation Pipework & Intercooler to throttle body pipework.

If you are going the K04 route why not buy a ED30 engine, stronger rods and lower compression.
I believe there still one for sale here on the forum.

i found that engine today in the forsale part but to much money for me  :sad1:

Maybe a little expensive, but how much would you be paying for a stock GTI engine and then having the expense of the conversion parts and still having stock internals!

ive tracked down a gti engine with turbo for £850 so im going with that for now lol
