Hi Everybody,

I've been having a quick look around your forum and what I've seen I like.

I've recently bought an 05 plate black GTi with full leather, sat nav and few other toys. At the mo it's standard but wouldn't mind tinkering slightly like a panel filter (recommendations on a postcard) and possibly a remap from my local garage who seems to be a guru (automark Stokesley, near Middlesbrough) with VW group motors. He recently did a 1 off map on my Dad's Octavia 140 TDI now running 200 bhp and has improved MPG!
I don't want to make this car undriveable and uncomfortable because I bought it for how it is, nice and comfy but quick! My last car, which I'm trying to sell, is 06 fiesta ST in white which is running 172bhp.
I can't wait to get some advice from you all any recommendations would be great.

I'm thinking new clutch now as it went earlier this evening, only had the car 8 days, it felt fine when i bought it and this morn. gutted. any ideas on uprated clutches and prices?
i quite fancied going to the meet in York but that aint happening now and neither will this remap :(
