Ok so it's a 2004 gt tdi and it has dual climate control, all of a sudden all the vents seem to be blowing out icy cold air except the passenger side dash vent that blows out warm air, it's very dangerous as you can imagine as the windscreen is almost frozen, anyone had this problem? Thanks

Seen something similar on Diagnose Dans vids on you tube. It was on a mk6 biut still should be similar, think it was a temp sensor fault. Have you got VCDS or any way of checking the hvac fault codes/live data?
Will find the vid.

I love Diagnose Dan :notworthy:
Yeah there are temp sensors in the left and right upper dash outlets to compare cabin temp to the commanded temp. That's how climate control works :happy2:
If you have a scan tool that can access the HVAC module, it will tell you the readings and/or any fault codes.

Yer could be that, however its blowing ice cold air through the whole drivers side and not just the dash vent? Would that be the case?
