Title: Newer Passat Gateway in my MK5?

Hey guys! I've just bought a CAN gateway for my mk5 on eBay to install a RCD330 and I couldn't find a proper "which can gateway to get for your mk5" topic so it was pretty much a blind buy.

It's a 7n0 907 530 Q from a 2014 Passat I believe and I was wondering if it was good for my Golf? It's supposed to work since it's a 907 530 part but you never know.

The gateway you have should be fine, as far as I’m aware most, if not all 7N0 907 530 gateways will work. Just remember it will need coding in via VCDS.

Thanks! That's what I thought too but better be safe than sorry. Yep I'm having it coded as soon as it arrives!  :happy2:
