Great stuff mate thanks

Not TRW though?
-
TRW or ATE are the usual brands for VW calipers.
You'll be wanting to replace that caliper ASAP otherwise the heat will kill the bearing/hub if driven like that for extended periods, and your mpg will suffer massively! And naturally, if one side has gone.....the other side will follow soon after, so budget for both sides.

Cheers guys. Since lockdown in November I've rarely used the car. I'm due back at work in April (car sales) so will get the lads in work to have a mooch.
-
Mine got a bit grumpy from not being used for 6 months also, well, just the occasional trip to the shop and back. The injectors got proper miserable and the brakes needed a lot of miles to free off again.
-
Hopefully an easy fix. If not will replace the pair. Assuming only some come in red?

Thanks mate. Spoke to a chap breaking a mk5 a little while back so dropped him a message. He has two at 45 each in red that look new so may opt for those if needed.
