Title: Cam Follower

I’m going to tackle the cam follower next week, just wondering when they changed the pipes on the bottom of the HPFP from the dreaded banjo bolt to the newer rubber hose and clip setup? My car is an October 2007 BWA engine, just praying I don’t have the banjo bolt!

No it won't have, mine's a 56 plate and it doesn't.

Pop open the hood/bonnet and take a look.
This is one with the bamboo fitting and rubber hose. If there are two metal tubes connected to the bottom...then it has the Banjo fitting;

Thanks guys, having had a bmw 1 series before the GTI, wanted a GTI since I was a boy, the community is amazing!
