Title: Mk5 seatbelt replacement

Hi all,

Looking for some advice. Fitted a new drivers seat belt to my 3 door mk5 Gti today.

Airbag light on and trying to reset it with code eraser tool. It resets then pings back again few seconds later.

The seatbelt I fitted was off a 5 door golf but I didn’t think this could make any issue. Any advice you could give he great!

Shouldn’t be the seatbelt causing it, Maybe you’ve damaged the airbag wire that runs under the drivers seat  very common problem
