Can someone provide a link to a good quality ignition coil puller for the MK5 GTI? Mines done 90k and don’t think the coils have ever been lifted so expecting it to be a bit stiff
Cheers

Don't let the marketing/sales people persuade you into buying another tool you will rarely use. Just pull up on the coil pack rocking the pack back & forth until it comes loose. It takes you 10 minutes to try first...then if you really can't get them out buy a puller.

YouTube is your friend bro

Don’t lever them out with screw driver like in the video :stupid: use some heavy duty cable ties in a loop to pull them them out

I’ve always used the large metal clip that you take off of the air intake hose when removing the engine cover. Just pull up... works like a charm every time

I've done mine many many times using this method. No issues at all.

I have used this method once when I couldn't do it by hand, works well and is cheap too!

Just get the tool. So much easier than trying to wrestle with them or mess about with other methods.
