Title: Mk5 Golf GTi Grey ***Updated***
Post by: gazjones on March 28, 2010, 08:32:19 pm: Well I finally fetched my new baby. Perfect timing too, just smashed the front end in on my old one :congrats:

Basically, she's a MK5 GTI, Revo map on it takes it to 265bhp, got the front R32 Recarro leather heated seats, highline comp, sat nav, 18" Monza 2's (having these painted matt black over the next few months) cruise control, 6 CD Changer etc etc.

Really happy with the car, been looking a while, and had a few complications with a previous one I looked at, but I'm glad I held out.

Took a few pics with my SLR after I'd given her a bit of a polish this morning :smiley:

Yea, just the basic stuff really when it comes to the body, have it lowered, throw a milltek on it, get bottom of the rear bumper sorted as it once had a tow bar and I don't really like the massive gap in it! Probably have skirts done too to match bodywork, but might leave them, not really sure at the minute. Performance wise I'm not really sure, I'm happy with where it is at the minute, so I'm going to leave it for now, got to watch the pennies for a bit then I'll start investing :happy2:

Nah that's not me, think a few people have got me confused with him though!

I'm really unsure what to do about the wheels as I do like the ones that are on it, and black has been done a lot now. Just want it to be a bit more individual if that makes sense.

Won't be doing it for a while yet anyway so I've got some time to think about it! :happy2:
