Title: Grinding noise at higher RPM (Video attached)
Post by: MattC on May 18, 2021, 08:43:02 pm
Had this noise for about 9 months now happens above around 3,200 rpm . On a rare occasion I can get past 4k rpm without this noise happening. By rare I mean like 5% chance... No smoke from the back or other signs of turbo failure.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Thanks.

Sounds like a resonance through the exhaust, check to see if the mounts are metal to metal on the exhuast/subframe etc.
