After owning for nearly 6 years I made the decision to sell my motor, was hard letting go after all the blood, sweat and tears that she's caused but she sold in less than 24 hours!
Missing it so much but hopefully replace her soon with something else that puts a smile on my face
So this is really just a post to say a BIG thank you to this forum and members, joined when I got the car and has been nothing but helpful when help and advice was needed!
Never know I may end up with another MK5 in the future so will hang around but for now its been a pleasure!
Ta-ra!

I guess I should do the same having sold up after 12 years of ownership. The forum has been a mine of information and assistance.
I'm now the owner of a 2019 GTI PP with an excellent spec.
I'll still look in from time to time.

How do you find the drive compared to a 5?

Not a lot in it although I can certainly feel the extra HP of the Mk7.
Also think I might actually prefer the feel of the MK5 steering, there was always a nice weight to it what ever the speed.
But I'd owned it for over 10 years and needed a change & the Mk7 came up at the right time & ticked all the boxes spec wise.

If you drive over Craigantlet you'll pass it.

Easily the best MK7 colour. Good choice.

Oooh nice. I've been warming to those a lot lately. The spec I want (3 door, grey, DSG) is hard to find for sensible money though.
