Title: Wheel valve hole
Post by: k50 on March 28, 2010, 09:16:36 pm
Hi wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Bought a new monza 2 off ebay and have found out it's a factory second due to the valve hole being too small. Anyone know if they can be made bigger? anywhere that could do this? thanks

Are you sure it isn't meant to have one of the VW specific metal valves?

Yeah I bought new valves fron VW because of tyre pressure monitors. Garage said hole too small for any type of valve

I believe the tyre pressures are measured using the roation of the wheel and not a sensor in the valve?

There are 2 types of monza 2's.  The difference is the valves sizes so you may find you've just got the wrong ones
