Title: Door skin refit cock up, help...

So Drivers window stopped half way down, heard a twang and cable has gone on regulator. Wedged window shut for now.
Put door skin back on but......forgot to put the small screw in behind the handle before refitting handle and lock, realised, got lock out but when sliding handle back to lift the rear of the handle out the whole handle assembly moves so I can't  :rolleye:
Any tips, tried for 15 mins without any luck.....
HELP!!  :rolleye:
