Title: Revo settings
Post by: J30SBO on June 23, 2021, 08:00:12 pm
Evening guys! Long story short after a year of ownership I discovered my ed30 had revo st1 software that had been turnt back to stock mode! Dialynx performance near Swindon re-did it for me free of charge which was great, when he did it he asked me what had been done so I told him it had a revo air intake and a bcs catback. He also asked what fuel I use, which I told him was 99ron. He then set it to boost 7, timing 9 and fuel 7. Does that sound about right? If not then it was B7, T7, F9 I can’t remember 🙈

Sounds about right, how does it go?

I would get some logging done as T9 sounds a bit high.
iirc T value is usually at 6 unless logging shows that further advancing of the timing doesn't result in the ecu pulling it back.

Yeah it goes really well, Keith at dialynx builds swb Quattro rally cars and also has a near 700hp tfsi in a r8 frame GT car so I don’t doubt his knowledge! It was either t9 f7 or the other way round 🙈

I doubt it would be T9.  That is max timing for race fuel. The Revo SPS manual suggests T5-6 for decent fuels and 3-4 for 95 RON, but you should really data log the knock regulation in VCDS to be sure you're not running into detonation.

I run B7, T5, F8 on my ED30.  I like to be conservative on the timing as it's the one thing that can royally f'ck the engine if it's set too high.
