Hey so I’m having some trouble with my car been told many things but am trying to figure it out without taking it to a shop and paying ridiculous prices. I own a 2009 gti and out of nowhere my AC/heat fans stoped working no matter the setting, the cigarette lighter and 12v in the trunk also don’t work, neither does the rear windshield wiper or the front windshield fluid washer. I have checked all the fuses and another thing to add is they went out and came back on randomly 2 days after they first went out and have not come back on since. One more thing is that if one of those things are working they all do but if ones not then they all don’t. Anyone know of something it might be?

A dodgy ground somewhere? A culprit for all kind of things is where the boot looms go into the car. As well as various boot things not working my central locking started locking randomly when it was open.
