Title: Slow revs drop
Post by: Igor.e92 on September 07, 2021, 09:29:09 am
hi everyone

in the link below u have a video that shows my problem, when i going to stop, foot off the accelerator and the engine sticks at 1400 rpm for probably 2-3 seconds its like its still holding throttle .. only after 2-3 seconds start to fall normally .. when in idle as u can see in the video at 1400 rpm the needle seems to stop for 1 second and then slowly falls into idle. The pcv valve was changed a couple of months ago because i had a restless engine in idle and the car was reving itself , so the pcv is relatively new.

   - video of my problem

tnx :)

I would be looking for a small vacuum leak, or a faulty evap valve.

I would be looking for a small vacuum leak, or a faulty evap valve.

evap valve is changed 20k km ago, he threw an error code, now i dont have any error codes,

regarding vacuum leak, wouldn't the car behave like that all the time? because this only happens to me when the car is warm, when it's cold it normally returns rpm

What part number PCV did you fit?

One of the earlier revisions also needs the rear outlet tube with a check valve in it, otherwise it over revs at idle.

06F129101P needs the rear tube also.

If you fitted 06F129101R, it does not need the rear tube.

part number was 06F129101N (the only i can find here in Croatia) the car was running fine after the replacement

i was planning to buy a pcv fix but i still decided to buy replacement because pcv fix would have to wait a long time to be sent via ebay,  u think pcv fix was better option?
