Title: Anti shudder valve replaced but fault codes return
Post by: jonny RT on September 30, 2021, 09:46:59 pm
Evening all .My sons 2008 GT TDI 140 recently had engine light on and terrible shutdown shaking . VCDS codes showed 12547for ASV and fan circuit .Fuse 24 was blown ,replaced but blew again .
ASV replaced with a one from eurocarparts ,an ERA  brand .
Cars been fine for a week but engine light and shaking on shutdown have returned .VCDS  shows 12547 and a fan code again .Fuse 24 is fine .
Is it more likely a wiring issue to the anti shudder valve or the cheap valve from ECP ? If its a wiring fault then the original valve could be ok.
Any help much appreciated .Thanks .

Do the fans work or is one seized and blowing the fuse?
