Guys.. I hope this isn't a silly question Lol.. but the Torque pro app that comes as standard in the apps, does the check for errors feature actually work??? It never finds a fault on my car (not that I'm complaining) :booty: or is it a feature you have to pay for?
-
I was hoping that it would work without...but it wont work unless you have a OBD bluetooth dongle paired to the head.
Mine was a bit choosy about what dongle works.
Works well when up and running - even can find fault codes while driving.

Thanks for the reply fella..
i already have a bluetooth dongle paired with it and the app itself works great, ive set up my dashboard to show vacuum, speed, revs etc etc, but everytime i try to scan for faults, nothing shows up! i will be very surprised if my car had 0 faults.. i will pop out on my break and maybe pull the spark lead off to see if it reads the misfire

***update***
i should have tried this before posting Lol, but i just ran down and unplugged the maf sensor, tried the fault checker again and it actually found it
it works Lol
