Hi all,
Long time member of various VW forums as i've owned a few MK2s, Corrados and Sciroccos but...
I recently acquired a Mk5 GT TDI and i am having some electric issues. I've done some research on here but here are the problems so far:
- No power to radio
- No power to 2 of the 3 manual heating control dials
- Remote central locking not working
- AC not working (heating does) - likely not electrical or linked to the above.
I have checked the engine bay and driver side cabin fuse box. All seem to be in tact...
Any advice or direction would be welcome as this is my new daily.
Thanks in advance, Harry

I fitted a new head unit today:

Still no power to head unit.... i will re-check the fuses tomorrow!
Although the windscreen heater button doesn't light up, i can still hear a solenoid flick in the fusebox when it is pressed.
I have removed the unit with the 3 dials in - thinking i am best off finding a replacement working unit from a scrapyard as a starter?
