new member hi everyone, does anyone have any positive feedback from using the above, opinions seem to be 5-1 in favour of avoiding octane boosters as they actually reduce performance as is the testing on fifth gear years ago, around 5-10% reduction if memory serves correct which coincidently seems to be about the reduction in performance i have seen having just tested it compared to just regular 97,
any feedback appreciated

Do you not have better fuel available than 97? I prefer the ethanol free esso supreme 99 to v-power.

sadly no 97 is the best we have in northern ireland hence why i was trying to bring the octane up a bit, i was thinking that maybe the ecu needs time to adjust to the adative but when you change from 95 - 97 the extra performance is instant and gains even more over the next 50- 60 miles, i have covered this and still only seeing a reduction in power, think i will just put it down to a learning curve and stick to 97, also tryed the millers eco plus last year with the same results so i should have known really but i did have 2 injetors that were faulty at the time so i thought that might have been the reason that i saw a reduction in performance, but seems they all have a negative effect
