Post by: Jons1001 on February 02, 2022, 10:01:36 am
Hi all,

Does anyone know a good place to buy oem (Lemforder?) front drop links? part no's would be great if possible.

Also i've seen some febi ones on ebay, are these any good?

Thanks

EBay. Here’s the link with the part number from the Lemforder catalog -

https://aftermarket.zf.com/go/en/lemfoerder/catalogs/#/article/26774+01?languageID=4&brandID=35&countryID=GB

Quick look on EBay shows them for about £25. I’ve also got them from dealer for around the same price. Strangely, ECP or GSF don’t seem to stock the Lemforder links.

TRW & Lemsipforder are part of the same group, and the actual OEM supplier.  Febi are an aftermarket equivalent, and not the same quality standards.

AKS tuning sell the Lemsips if you need them quick.

Thanks Pudding, Looks like Euro car parts do the TRW ones so will probably just get them and pick them up. They are basically half the price of the Lemforder aswell?!

Are they? Bargain! All I know is the Lemforder ones look identical to the ones dealers supply, even the exact same zinc passivate finish.  I haven't seen TRW ones in the flesh.

TRW

They dont look as nice as the Lemf or OEM but as mentioned, they are lots cheaper. Will see how they last.

Should last well as TRW usually make the ball joints, tie rods and other heavy metal parts

Interesting - a manager at euros were dropping Lemforder & TRW, suspect it may have been a ploy to drive discount.

Yes - TRW & Lemforder are part of the ZF group, including Sachs and Boge - all good brands.
