Title: dash display lights going weird

has anyone had the dash mfd display lights intermittently having a fit, been doing it on mine occassionally and after 10 mins of driving return to normal, thinking it may be battery related as mine seems to be struggling to hold charge if its not used for a day or 2

Any other symptoms? Loss of power?

no its just intermittently the mfd display lights will go skewiff but after the car has been running for 5 mins they return to normal i have also had the battery failing to start the car but after jumping and driving it for an hour it starts fine ever since, i have been doing a lot of very short trips litterally 200 yards to shop and back over a few days so the battery probably isnt being driven enough to be charged, i should just stick a voltmeter on at idle to to make sure the alternator is charging,
