Title: Wheel colour for black mk5 gti....
Post by: imprezzaworks on February 17, 2022, 09:22:18 am: Week after next looking at getting my wheels refurbed. Currently they are a dark grey ish color which tbf I like. Just wondered if a should look to change colours or re do in the same. ....

Mine too. A good diamond cut looks amazing on a black car. Mine is in a silver powder coat but wish it was a diamond finish.

Post by: pudding on February 18, 2022, 08:53:31 am: Slightly darker than standard, which I think is VW 'Titan Silver', which isn't as bright as the usual 'sparkle silver'.

Not a fan of anthracite or black wheels on black cars personally. Looks a bit too Batmobile.

What happens with diamond cuts when they get kerbed, is it less visible as it’s just the same colour underneath?

I was given some when I collected the wheels, which reminds me I've got one wheel to touch up before it's refurbed.
