Title: headlight lense removal
Post by: ald1717 on February 21, 2022, 10:27:01 am: need to clean the inside of the headlight, can it be done?
only reference ive found says to heat up the seal around the edge with either heat gun or in the oven for 1 minute and then pull the lense clean and re seal,
anyone actually done it

The can be removed using a heat gun, but its a proper ball ache, plus if not fully and properly resealed you'll get leaks and condensation

Post by: ald1717 on February 22, 2022, 08:25:08 am: the bulb connector failed and heated up the reflector and lense and now its a bit cloudy, i have done my best with a bit of sponge tapped to a wire coat hanger and gone through the hole for the bulb but cant get it properly clean, its annoying me as the other 1 is like new
