Title: Help - MK5 1.4 GT Tsi 140 P2293
Post by: rOcKoN on February 22, 2022, 08:05:51 am
Hello guys,

Bought a Carly adapter and scanned the car which gave me the below:

The car hasn't got any symptoms (that I noticed :innocent: ) apart from when I was full throttle going through gears on gear 4 it went into limp mode but then it worked normally on lower gears. My thought was that when the load is high the pump loses pressure?

I also did some live testing with Carly but I am not sure what I should be looking for exactly. Below is what I did. (Measurements below are somewhere around 2600-3000rpm)

Can someone tell me what are some proper values for this car? What should I be measuring for this kind of fault etc? It's got a stage 1 remap so some values might be a bit higher that factory.

Bear in mind that around 600miles ago the car had a rebuild - new pistons, timing chain, etc.

Looks like it's a fuel pressure problem.  That would explain the limp mode at high load in 4th gear.

Thanks for the reply, how do I figure out what is causing that? Fuel pump, fuel pump regulator etc?
