Does anyone know how too fit w5w bulbs in a xenon housing unit?
Cheers J

What do you mean? How to replace the sidelights?
Pull hard!
-
They are a pain in the arse!
I will assume you have got to the stage of removing the rubber cap that hides the sidelight and indicator bulbs.
If you have the smallest hands in the world you can just give the plastic bulb holder a good tug (a twist might help) and it should come lose.
I have large hands, and so used a pair of needle nose pliers to pull the holder free, but be very careful not to pull on the wires. (if you have needle nose pliers with the bend half way down these would be even better.
On the drivers side there is less room to get to the rear of the cluster, but the black oblong box thats in the way can be removed with upwards pressure, as it just slots onto a mounting, which will make the job a whole lot easier.

i can get these out within seconds, granted you don't want big hands for this job tho.
just pull the rubber off and put ur fingers to the left corner if drivers side or right corner if passenger. just pull, a twist can help but its not locked in.

Thanks for the replies lads, Ive got the indicator bulb out and was like WTF "this is nothng like the bulbs I have!" lol. Is the bulb I'm after behind the same rubber cap as the indicator bulb, just located to the left or right depending how you look at the car. Or am I fireing in the wrong direction lol :happy2:

your in the right place the bulbs point sidewards out towards the wing mate, have a look with a mirror and it may help you work it out :happy2:
